Use your voice to make words sound fun by varying the pitch you use and by making your voice go up and down.
For example, play a game making a car, teddy, plane or man go up and down. Say ‘up’ in a high pitch and ‘down’ in a low pitch. Hide and seek games using toys are a good way of making language fun and interesting. Nursery rhymes and finger rhymes are all good for language games, e.g. ‘Round and round the garden’.
